- Not recorded against 0 EU/mg
- “Not recorded” means no result for that test is on file for that batch. It is not a result of zero. A measured zero is printed as a figure, because it is a finding.
- Not detected against No screen on file
- “Not detected” means the screen was run and found nothing at the assay limit. “No screen on file” means it was not run. The same distinction applies to sterility: a recorded pass is a badge, an untested batch says “Not tested”.
- Net content against the labelled mg
- The mg beside a compound name is the labelled presentation the certificate covers. Net content is the mass the laboratory measured. They are separate claims and are never substituted for one another.
- Sourcing standard against measured purity
- The sourcing standard at the foot of a card is the specification we buy to. It is not an analytical result and never appears among the recorded results. Measured purity on a card comes only from a laboratory result recorded against that batch.
- Document ID against Batch
- A Document ID is the testing laboratory’s accession number for the certificate itself. It identifies the report, not the material. Where a card reads “N/A (printed on CoA)” against Batch, that is what the certificate’s own Lot field says, transcribed rather than filled in. Neither number is a lot.
- A card with no page preview
- Some cards show a document placeholder instead of the first page of the certificate. That means the PDF is published and no picture of it has been rendered yet. It never means the certificate is missing: the card still opens the document.
