Peptide.Express is a United States–based supplier of research peptides for in-vitro laboratory study. We exist to do one thing well: deliver compounds whose purity and identity are independently verified and fully documented, so the researchers who buy from us can trust what is in the vial.
In short
Peptide.Express supplies research-grade peptides verified to ≥99% purity by HPLC, confirmed by mass spectrometry, and tested by an independent third-party laboratory. A batch-specific Certificate of Analysis ships with every order. All products are for laboratory research use only — no human or therapeutic use.
How we verify what we sell
Quality control is the entire business, not a marketing line. Every batch moves through the same documented pipeline before it reaches a product page:

Sourcing & supplier qualification
Compounds are sourced from manufacturing partners that synthesize to research-grade specifications. Each lot is treated as unverified until it clears our independent testing — supplier certificates are a starting point, never the final word.

HPLC purity verification (≥99%)
Every batch is analyzed by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) to confirm ≥99% purity before it is listed for sale. The chromatogram and purity figure are recorded against the batch ID.

Mass-spec identity confirmation
Liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC-MS) confirms that the measured molecular weight matches the expected mass for the named compound, guarding against mislabeled or substituted material.

Independent third-party testing
Verification is performed by an independent third-party laboratory, not just in-house, so the purity and identity data on the Certificate of Analysis are arms-length.

Certificate of Analysis with every order
Each shipment includes a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis (CoA) documenting purity, identity, and methodology, so any result can be traced back to the exact lot used in a study.

The standard we publish against
"We care about quality" is not a specification and cannot be checked. What follows are the five numbers a researcher can hold us to, each of which appears on a document you can pull for any lot you have bought:
- ≥99%Purity by HPLC
- Reverse-phase C18 chromatography, purity taken as area under the curve against total peak area. A lot that comes back below ≥99% is not listed.
- Exact massIdentity by LC-MS/MS
- Observed molecular weight matched against the theoretical value for the named compound. Purity says how much of the sample is one species; mass says which species it is.
- Per batchLAL endotoxin result
- Limulus Amebocyte Lysate assay for Gram-negative bacterial endotoxin, reported on every batch record. Endotoxin is heat-stable and survives sterile filtration, so it is measured rather than inferred.
- ZeroIn-house purity tests
- Peptide.Express runs none of its own purity analysis. Every published figure originates from an independent third-party laboratory named on the certificate.
- 1:1Batch-specific CoA
- One certificate per synthesis run, not one per product line. The lot number printed on the vial maps to exactly one document.
Where the honesty has to sit: HPLC reports purity as a proportion. It does not identify what the sub-1% impurity fraction consists of, and it does not confirm that the dominant peak is the right molecule — which is why LC-MS/MS runs alongside it rather than after it. Who we serve
Peptide.Express supplies research compounds to people doing in-vitro laboratory work. That framing is not a disclaimer bolted on at the end — it defines what we sell, how it is documented, and what it is not suitable for.
Independent researchers
Investigators running self-funded in-vitro work who need documented purity without an institutional procurement chain behind them. The batch certificate is what makes an independent result reproducible by someone else.
Laboratory scientists
Bench scientists working in cell culture, receptor pharmacology and analytical method development, where an uncharacterized impurity fraction is a confound rather than a rounding error. Endotoxin figures matter here more than anywhere else in our customer base.
Academic institutions
University and research-institute groups sourcing reference compounds for preclinical study design. Volume pricing and batch documentation for institutional purchase orders go through [email protected].
Research-use-only material is not manufactured to pharmaceutical GMP requirements, is not sterile-filled for injection, and holds no approval from any regulatory body for administration to humans or animals. A Certificate of Analysis documents purity and identity. It is not a safety assessment, and it says nothing about what a compound does in a living organism.
Our research team
Content and product documentation on Peptide.Express is maintained by the Peptide.Express Research Team — staff with working backgrounds in peptide chemistry, HPLC purity analysis, and analytical method validation. The team reviews molecular data, verifies that cited literature studies the named compound, and keeps entity facts (formula, molecular weight, CAS, sequence) consistent across the site. Research articles are attributed to this team and written strictly within a research-use framing.
Who reviews the compound data

Reviews the compound identity records behind this site — CAS registry number, molecular formula, molecular weight and PubChem CID — against primary chemical registries, together with the literature citations attached to them.
In practice that means each identity value is checked against the primary registry record — PubChem, CAS Common Chemistry — rather than copied from a supplier sheet or another vendor’s page, and the literature attached to a compound is checked to confirm that the cited work studies the compound it is cited under.
That is the scope of the attribution, and it is the whole of it. Ben Laythee reviews the compound identity records and reference citations that the research library, comparison, and application-area pages are built from. Peptide.Express publishes no degree, licence number, professional affiliation, or years-of-experience figure for him, because none has been documented here — and an undocumented credential on a chemistry page is worth less than nothing. Where a page carries a “Reviewed by” line, that line refers to this review and to nothing wider.
The mechanics are the same ones described in the “How this page is sourced” note at the foot of every research-library, comparison, and application page: Molecular identity on this page — name, CAS number, molecular formula and molecular weight — is resolved from a single internal entity record and checked against primary registries (PubChem, CAS Common Chemistry) rather than retyped per page. A field with no verified value is left out instead of estimated. Literature is cited to a DOI, PMID or PMCID permalink so every reference resolves to the specific record it names.
No review date is published, because none is recorded. A publication or revision date shown on a content page is a date the page changed, not a date it was reviewed, and the two are not presented as though they were the same thing. This review covers chemical identity and citation accuracy only. It is not a safety assessment, and it implies no human or therapeutic use — all material described on this site is for in-vitro laboratory research use only.

Everything we supply is for in-vitro laboratory and research use only. We make no human, clinical, therapeutic, or dosing claims. This is a compliance requirement and a standard we hold ourselves to in every page we publish.
Entity-accurate documentation
Molecular formula, molecular weight, CAS number, and sequence are drawn from a single canonical reference and kept consistent across product pages, comparisons, and research articles. Where a value is genuinely uncertain, we leave it out rather than guess.
Citations that study the named compound
Research content references peer-reviewed literature (PubMed/NIH) that actually investigates the compound in question — never borrowed citations or fabricated studies.

Responses go out within one business day. If a batch number on a vial does not match the certificate you were given, send the lot number from the label and we will retrieve the correct record.
Damaged or incorrect shipments should be reported within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs of the vial and the outer packaging.
